Shawnee Co. Home Sales Fell in February
Total home sales in Shawnee Co. fell last month to 127 units, compared to 131 units in February 2018. Total sales volume was $14.8 million, down from a year earlier.
The median sale price in February was $107,000, down from $110,000 a year earlier. Homes that sold in February were typically on the market for 18 days and sold for 98.4% of their list prices.
Shawnee Co. Active Listings Down at End of February
The total number of active listings in Shawnee Co. at the end of February was 323 units, down from 386 at the same point in 2018. This represents a 1.5 months’ supply of homes available
for sale. The median list price of homes on the market at the end of February was $115,000.
During February, a total of 169 contracts were written down from 192 in February 2018. At the end of the month, there were 197 contracts pending, compared to 241 at the end of February 2018.
